Local Computerized Services (LCS) created the concept of the "local internet" with the purpose of helping local smaller communities to prosper and grow.  The absolute basic approach is to list 100% of every establishment in the immediate local community online for FREE.  With the addition of some key words, this format provides an ability for internet users (local and nearby) to conduct more meaningful online research about their immediate hometown.  The higher the quality of information available, the more likely these internet users will make a purchase with local establishment (online, in person, or, both).

Those establishments with an existing web presence can "link" their website URL to the local search engine listing for a small annual membership fee (please see our "Tour Main Street" section).  If an establishment doesn't have a web presence already, LCS will help you to get one.  Ultimately, the idea is to have a local search engine full of listings with website links.  This makes it possible for internet users to "drill down" to find out specific information about an establishment that'll help them with a purchasing decision.  In effect, the end user is conducting a virtual shopping trip down the figurative "Main Street" of their local community.  This capability saves them time, money, energy, and convenience.  They can now act like a laser beam and patronize brick & mortar establishments or purchase online.

Market directly to "Local Residents"
